1. Academic Results

Over the last five years we have averaged some of the best IGCSE and A Level results in Malaysia. Over 80% of A Level grades being A* to B. The education here is first class and opens the door to the finest universities and colleges in the world. In recent years we have sent students to universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, UCL MIT, UPENN and Harvard.

2. Charity Status

It is a registered charity and all funds generated are put straight back into the school to improve the educational experience for all students.

3. Facilities

The School has outstanding facilities, from its state of the art Auditorium to the sporting facilities, its boarding houses to the health centre, science labs to the sixth form centre.

4. Extracurricular Activities

KTJ has an incredible range of extra-curricular activities to give a fully rounded education. At the last count, there were over 120 activities on offer for the students to enjoy: golf, fencing, horse riding, squash, badminton, People to People International, Interact Club, Model United Nations, to name only a few!

5. Highly Qualified Staff

The staff are highly qualified and very experienced. KTJ was the first co-educational boarding school in Malaysia modelled on a British-style education.

6. Teacher & Student Relations

The relationships between staff and students are built upon mutual respect. The school’s welcoming atmosphere is a very distinctive quality.

7. Pastoral Care

The pastoral care is in the hands of a Deputy Principal, three Heads of Year, a counsellor and advisors who collectively watch over students’ progress and guide them through their studies. Students are, however, expected to take responsibility for their own work, thus preparing them for college and university.

8. School Trips

The school organises numerous trips, both within Malaysia and abroad, to enrich the students’ education, such as the Model United Nations and sporting competitions (FOBISIA) throughout Asia and Europe.

9. Our Location

The school’s safe and secure location is ideally located in Negeri Sembilan with easy access to KL, only 45 minutes drive away and easy access to the international airport, 35 minutes drive away.


We are proud of our affiliation with FOBISIA, which is is a regional federation of the leading British international schools in Asia. All member schools are closely scrutinised on application and have to meet an extensive range of quality standards in order to be accepted into the Federation and to retain membership of it.

 In addition, CIS  is the Council of International Schools. It is a membership community committed to high quality international education. As a global non-profit membership organisation, CIS provides services to primary and secondary schools, higher education institutions and individuals that share these ideals:
