The well-qualified and very experienced staff are drawn both from Malaysia and from overseas. Of the 85 members of the teaching staff, about a quarter are ex-pat, including the housemasters of the senior boarding houses. Many of the local staff have followed degree courses overseas or, in some cases, have taught abroad.
