MSSM Golf Tournament

KTJ golf scholars Winnie Ng, VictorNg and Lana Ardini had made Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar proud and made  known to many teachers, parents and players due to their splendid  performance in the recently concluded 2018 MSSM Golf Championships held at Cinta Sayang Resort, Sg. Petani for the girls and at Darulaman Golf & Country Club, Jitra for the boys from 20-22 March 2018.

Winnie Ng Yu Xuan, being defending champion for the overall and girls U18 category, arrived at the tournament venue as the hot favourite and she does it in style by leading from round one to the final round with impressive score of 72,71,70: 213 (-3) and won by 6 strokes big margin.

Victor Ng Yu Kai won the individual overall 3rd placing / bronze medal in the boys U18 category with 3 days commendable score of 73,75,81: 229 (+13), in the final round. Victor's fine performance helps the Negeri Sembilan team to finish 4th placing in the boys U18 team event.

Lana Ardini finished in 6th placing in the girls under 16 category with 3rounds score of 77.76,85: 238 ( +22).

All 3 KTJ golf scholars finished on podium with Winnie in girls U18 gold medal and overall champion, Victor in boys U18 bronze medal and boys U18 team event 4th place, Lana in girls U16 in 6th place.

Both Winnie and Victor will be representing MSSM in the Asean Schools Games
2018 by virtue of finishing in the overall top 3 placing.
