The co-curricular (CCA) programme at KTJ is dedicated to providing a holistic education that prepares students for success in all facets of life.
Rooted in the principles of engagement, exploration and personal development, our mission is to cultivate well-rounded individuals who excel academically, socially and emotionally.
Through a diverse array of activities spanning sports, culture, science, art and social initiatives, we aim to instil a passion for learning and a love for exploration that goes beyond the classroom. By encouraging students to embrace new experiences and challenges, we empower them to discover their strengths, interests, and aspirations.
Central to our mission is the cultivation of good character and ethical leadership. Through participation in service projects, leadership development opportunities and character-building exercises, we strive to nurture qualities such as integrity, empathy, resilience and teamwork.
Furthermore, we are committed to fostering global citizenship and promoting social responsibility. By engaging in projects that address local and global issues, students develop a deeper understanding of diverse cultures, perspectives, and global challenges. We empower them to become compassionate, responsible and ethical leaders who contribute positively to their communities and the world.
Ultimately, our goal is to support students in leading happy, balanced lives. By providing opportunities for personal growth, self-discovery and well-being, we equip students with the skills, knowledge and values they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. Through our co-curricular programme, we inspire students to become lifelong learners, compassionate individuals and impactful leaders in their communities and beyond.
The ECAs at KTJ are great! They are a great way to meet new people and make friends, join team building activities and do charity work. It brings the whole community together.

Being an extremely sporty person, KTJ is a place that I can truly live my passion for sports to the fullest. With such diverse sporting facilities, extra-curricular activities and house competitions, there are ample opportunities to try something new.

Our Educational Events and Visits Coordinator, Les Frost, provides further insight into our extensive CCA program in this video:
CCA activities take place after school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. There are also opportunities to participate in activities before class on some days and at weekends. The vast majority of activities are free of charge, and any additional costs are announced on the extra-curricular program at the start of each term.
