This year, UCAS reported a 3% increase in international student applications compared with 2022. In Malaysia, specifically, there has been a 5% increase in UCAS applications since 2022, and a 17% increase since 2020 (pre-COVID). Competition for top universities in the UK, US and around the world continues to increase. 

Whilst, the summer break is a great opportunity to recharge your batteries ready for the new academic year, it also provides an opportunity to further bolster your future university applications. Whether that's through enhancing your personal statement, participating in academic competitions, or delving into some wider reading which will expand your knowledge on a particular subject.
