It was a melting pot of cultures, where I received a crash course in cultural immersion. We also learnt the value of passion juxtaposed with the value of context, namely passion without context or purpose becomes misguided. We were fortunate to have teachers who allowed us the audacity to dream, but were wise enough to give us context to keep our feet firmly planted on the ground.”
