Hamish studied at Ampleforth College, a boarding school in northern England, before going to Durham University to study History, followed by Canterbury Christ Church University where he studied Secondary Teaching. Hamish has taught in a variety of schools in England and Dubai. He moved to Malaysia in 2018 and joined KTJ as a History Teacher and Naquiah Boys House Tutor, before being promoted to Assistant Head of Secondary. Hamish is now also the Houseparent of Naquiah Day House. Outside of KTJ, Hamish is an accreditor for the Council of International Schools.
