I joined KTJ in 2008 as a scholar of Bank Negara Malaysia to pursue my A-levels. I was privileged to join Naquiyuddin House. Under the house system, we competed with other houses in various competitions and sport events for the much coveted trophies. This friendly rivalry has bonded us closer and added excitement and camaraderie to my sixth-form life. We were taught by highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff. I benefited from the extensive sixth form support. My higher education mentor provided valuable feedback on my personal statement and university application. Through regular visits from top universities, I was able to understand each university better. I also enjoyed attending regular mock interviews prior to my university admission interview. My time at KTJ had shifted my paradigm and allowed me to explore new ways of thinking. The wide range of extra-curricular activities had developed and honed my leadership skills. With the comprehensive support from the KTJ staff, I managed to score 4As for the A-levels. KTJ had prepared me well for my law degree at Queen Mary, University of London. After completing my law degree, I went to University of Law to complete the Legal Practice Course. I returned to Malaysia in 2014 as the associate legal counsel of Bank Negara Malaysia. After a four-year stint in the public sector, I joined AirAsia as its Senior Legal Counsel. I am currently working as the deal manager of Oracle, responsible for managing and closing deals in Great China and Korea.
